Legal notices, verification and requests
Effective 21 September 2026
This page is the single official reference for anything legal involving BITTU ICLOUD LLC: verifying that a message genuinely came from us, sending us a takedown or data request, responding to one we sent you, and understanding how a complaint is checked before we act on it.
Our one official legal address
legal@bittuicloud.com
Every legal notice, takedown request, verification query, data request and law-enforcement request goes to this address. A message about a legal matter that does not come from this address, or is not confirmed by it, did not come from us.
Automated case confirmations and payment receipts are sent from info@bittuicloud.com, support replies from support@bittuicloud.com, and recruitment from careers@bittuicloud.com. If you are unsure whether any message is genuinely ours, forward it to legal@bittuicloud.com and we will confirm in writing whether it came from us.
How to verify a message is really from us
Criminals impersonate fraud-recovery and cybersecurity firms specifically to target people who have already lost money. Before you act on any message claiming to be BITTU ICLOUD, check all of the following.
A genuine message from us
- Comes from an address ending @bittuicloud.com — nothing else.
- Refers to a case reference in the format BIC-XXXXXXXXXXXX.
- Asks you to sign in only at bittuicloud.com.
- Can be confirmed by writing to legal@bittuicloud.com independently.
- States plainly that we are a private company.
Never from us — treat as fraud
- A Gmail, Outlook, Proton or similar free address.
- A request for your password, OTP, PIN, full card number or wallet seed phrase.
- A demand to pay into a personal account, crypto wallet or gift cards.
- A claim that we can guarantee your money back.
- A threat of arrest, a court summons, or a deadline designed to rush you.
- A request to install remote-access or screen-sharing software.
We will never ask for a payment in order to release recovered money. Anyone who does is committing a second fraud against you. Report it to your national cybercrime authority.
What we are, and what we are not
BITTU ICLOUD LLC is a private company providing cybersecurity support, incident documentation and case-preparation services. Being accurate about this protects the people we work for.
- We are not a police force, government agency, regulator, court or licensing body, and we are not acting on behalf of one.
- We have no power to compel any person or company to act, to arrest anyone, to seize or freeze funds, to order a website taken down, or to impose a penalty.
- When we contact a company, platform, registrar or bank, we are making a request supported by evidence and by the relevant law or policy — never a demand backed by authority we do not hold.
- We cooperate fully with law-enforcement and regulatory authorities, and we refer cases to the appropriate official bodies. Cooperation runs from us to them; we cannot grant ourselves their powers.
- We do not guarantee the recovery of money, and we never state or imply that an outcome is certain.
A full directory of the official government reporting bodies we direct cases to is published on our law-enforcement resources page.
How a complaint is verified before we act
This company exists to help people who have been defrauded. That purpose is only served if the process cannot itself be misused to harm an innocent business or person. Every complaint therefore passes through the same sequence.
- Received. The complaint is recorded with a unique reference and a private access code held only by the reporter.
- Checked for safety. If the person may be in immediate danger, we stop and direct them to emergency services before anything else.
- Evidence reviewed. We look at what is actually supplied — transaction records, correspondence, invoices, portal results. An allegation with no supporting material is not treated as established fact.
- Assessed. A specialist reviews the case and records what the evidence does and does not show, including where it is weak or contradictory.
- Acted on. Where the evidence supports it, we help the reporter escalate to the correct bank, platform, registrar, regulator or police authority, and we prepare the documentation they need.
- Right of reply. Where we approach a named business, that business may respond, and its response is recorded alongside the complaint.
We do not publish accusations against named individuals or companies, operate a public blacklist, or take retaliatory action. An unproven allegation is not evidence, and publishing one would expose both the reporter and this company to serious legal liability.
Requests you can send to legal@bittuicloud.com
Takedown, abuse and impersonation reports
If content, a domain or an account is impersonating BITTU ICLOUD, or if you believe material connected to a case infringes your rights, write to us with: the exact URL or account identifier, what the material is and why it is unlawful or infringing, your relationship to the rights concerned, and your contact details. We acknowledge these within 3 working days.
If you received a notice from us
A notice from us will identify the case reference, the specific evidence relied on, the legal or policy basis for the request, and a named contact. You are entitled to ask for clarification, to dispute it, and to have your response recorded. Reply to legal@bittuicloud.com quoting the reference. We would rather correct a mistake than defend one.
Law-enforcement and regulatory requests
We respond to requests from law-enforcement, regulators and courts. To act on a request for user data we require valid legal process appropriate to your jurisdiction, issued by an authority with jurisdiction over us, sent from an official government domain, and identifying the account, case reference or time period as narrowly as the investigation permits.
- Preservation requests are honoured on receipt while lawful process is obtained.
- Emergency requests involving an imminent risk of death or serious physical harm are handled immediately and out of hours. Mark the subject line EMERGENCY DISCLOSURE REQUEST.
- What we hold is set out in our privacy notice: case records and evidence, account details, and connection data including IP address, approximate network location and browser user-agent.
- Notice to users. We tell an affected person that their data has been requested, unless we are legally prohibited from doing so or doing so would endanger someone.
- We decline requests that are overbroad, that lack lawful basis, or that appear designed to identify a person who has reported wrongdoing.
Privacy and data-subject requests
Requests for access, correction or deletion of your own data are handled through the process in our privacy notice, or by writing to legal@bittuicloud.com from the address on your account.
Response times
- Emergency disclosure requests — immediately, including outside working hours.
- Law-enforcement and regulatory requests — acknowledged within 2 working days.
- Takedown, impersonation and abuse reports — acknowledged within 3 working days.
- Verification queries (“did this really come from you?”) — answered within 1 working day.
What we will not do
- Access any account, device or system without the owner’s authorisation.
- “Hack back”, retaliate, or attempt to seize assets ourselves.
- Publish personal data about an accused person, or assist anyone to do so.
- Claim any official, governmental or regulatory status we do not hold.
- Guarantee recovery of funds, or take payment on the promise of a specific outcome.
- Contact a fraud victim out of the blue to offer recovery services.
